Hendrik von Metzinger - Johannesburg, Gauteng - July 2007 and July 2008 -

On a hunting trip during July 2008 Hendrik shot this Impala ram with his 30-06 and a 150gr GSCHV bullet. Note that the exit wound on the animal is fairly small for the size bullet that was used. Hendrik is 78 years old this year and is still hunting like many younger guys would wish they can!

This Warthog and her piglet were killed by the same bullet.

On a hunting trip during July 2007 in KZN, Hendrik shot the female warthog with a 150gr GSCHV out of his 30-06 in the neck. She dropped on the spot where she stood. Great was his surprise when he got to the animal and found her piglet lying dead right next to her! The piglet was standing right behind the female on a little embankment, completely out of sight - the GSCHV went right through the females neck and then right through the hidden piglet's shoulders.
