Nico Pretorius - Magalies on the farm Elandsfontein - 2010 -

Although this hunt took place with a non-GSC bullet, we decided to publish it nevertheless, since Nico lost his right arm in an accident some time ago. We think it is quite an achievement for Nico to successfully hunt over such a long distance.

After we entered the field we spotted the animals after just 5 min. We took the range with a Leica Rangefinder it read 580m. I use Quick load Ballistic Chart that gives me the MOA from 0 - 1000m. I dialed up the scope to 12.9 MOA for the distance, the problem now was to calculate the bullet drift because the wind was howling at about 5.5-6.5 m/s.

After about 5 min the Waterbuckbull left the comfort of the herd and now was facing me with his left shoulder facing me at 45 degrees. I took aim at about 1 foot past his rear and squeezed the trigger. As the shot rang out the bull ran back on his rear legs and collapsed after 30m. On retrieval of the animal we found that the bullet entered in the left shoulder and the bullet was found at the right rear leg (the mark you can see in the picture) and the bullet was still intact.

It remains a risky shot to be taken in windy conditions over such a long distance. Fortunately, all worked out well for Nico.

Nico Pretorius - Rustenburg - 2010 -

This Impala was shot in the head at 120m with my 375H&H using a GSCHV 200 grain bullet. I also shot 2 Kudu cows between 120-180m neck shots - these bullets hit were I aim.

The bullets shot accurate and true and the meat damage was minimum, so according to me these are 1 of the best hunting bullets around.

	The bullets I shot with was a 200gr HV in my 375 H&H Truvelo at a 100m distance .... the wind was strong and gusty. As you can see the 81,2gr load came out tops, even at 400m I had no problems hitting plates the shape and size of a Turkey.
This was also shot at a 100m. Rifle: 375 H&H Truvelo Bullet: 200gr HV GSC Brass Case: PMP Primer: Magnum PMP Propellant: S 341 Load: 81.2g. I also shot at 200m and my bullet drop was not even noticeable - will send photos.

For a large calber like a .375, these are nice groups indeed ~ TFD.
